Ryzen 9 9950X + RTX 2070 Super: bottleneck check
GPU-limited at 1440p. GPU-bound (normal).
The RTX 2070 Super is the part working hardest at 1440p, which is what you want. The Ryzen 9 9950X keeps about 36% in reserve.
By resolution
| Resolution | Limiting part | Severity | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1080p | GPU | 30% | GPU-bound (normal) |
| 1440p | GPU | 36% | GPU-bound (normal) |
| 4K | GPU | 51% | CPU overkill |
The RTX 2070 Super is the limit at every resolution and by a wide margin at 4K (51%). The Ryzen 9 9950X is overkill for this card: a faster GPU would give you far more frames than any CPU change.
